Following the popular exhibition, Magical Unicorns: Homage to the Unicorn, the Paris Museum of the Middle Ages – known as the Cluny Museum – is holding a related exhibition called, Five Senses: An echo to the Lady with the Unicorn. The exhibition will be held from 23 March to 20 August 2019.
This current presentation of 50 works continues the theme of objects of medieval art. At the end of the exhibition is the famous tapestries of the Lady with the Unicorn!
The main feature of the past and current exhibitions is The Lady and the Unicorn wool and silk tapestries, dated around 1500. The tapestries arrived at the Cluny Museum in Paris in 1882, after being located in 1814 in the Boussac Castle in the French department of Cruese.
