Day 2 of the James Joyce Conference in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 26-27 September 2019, included an exhibition of Georgian publications of James Joyce’s works.
All works of James Joyce, from poetry collections to novels, have been translated from English into the Georgian language. Published by the Universal Publishing House in Georgia, copies were on show during the exhibition, and presented by Tamar Gelashvili, lecturer at the Tbilisi State University (TSU).
Universal Publishing House has also printed Tamar Gelashvili’s translation of Finnegans Wake, Book 1, Chapter VIII, which includes her own illustrations and commentaries.
