For the 14 July Bastille Day, which is referred to as the French National Day, the French Ministry of Defense held a flypast with 52 aeroplanes and 22 helicopters of the French Air Force, Army Aviation, and Navy Aviation, as well as the Gendarmerie Aviation and Civil Security. The planes included a civilian Dassault Falcon 2000LX.
The United Kingdom’s Royal Air Force (RAF) and the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) participated again this year, with a pair of RAF Typhoon FGR4 fighter jets from the 1st Fighter Squadron, and an Luftwaffe Airbus A400M cargo plane.
