The Town Hall of the 6th arrondissement in Paris is hosting an exhibition of Alix Bataille’s art works from 31 August to 3 October 2022 in the Gallery of Luxembourg.
The exhibition includes paintings of seascapes and beaches.
Alix Bataille comes from a family of artists. She loves nature, where her seascapes show the movements, vibrations, and shades of colour in nature, from subtle to bold. As she states, her paintings show ‘the branches that move in the wind and undulate under the spring sun, the morning waves with a calm and serene atmosphere, the surf of the sea when the wind has just risen, and the shadows of the clouds on the ponds.’
