The Cartier Foundation contemporary art gallery in Paris is hosting an exhibition of the works of Australian artist Ron Mueck from 8 June to 5 November 2023.
Ron Mueck is known for his monumental installations, such as Mass (2017). He also designed, performed, and voiced the character Ludo in the 1986 fantasy film Labyrinth. This exhibition showcases Mass, presented for the first time outside Australia, as well as his new works.
This is Mueck’s third exhibition at the Cartier Foundation contemporary art gallery, after previous exhibitions in 2005 and 2013.
Ronald Hans Mueck (1958-) was born in Melbourne, Australia, in a puppet-making and doll-making household. He followed his family traditions, with his own style of hyper-realism (large images with micro-minute details).
