The Ministry of Interior in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, will move into a grand, brand new building of 105,545 square metres on Norodom Boulevard.
The $60 million construction, commenced in 2021, is nearing completion. Its nine-storey building will accommodate 8,500 people.
The nine-storey design features classical Khmer style in the grand tradition of Angkor. It include the typical VVV-shaped, multi-tiered, tiled roof, golden spires, and ornamentation (‘like a straw hat’).
