From 6 March to 6
April 2017, the Georgian National Museum’s Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine
Arts will hold an exhibition called "Masterpieces from Museum of Fine Arts

There is also ‘Family
Feast’ by Steen Jan (1626-79) and Pablo Picasso’s (1881-1973) portrait of Georgian
artist Niko Pirosmanashvili, sketched during Pirosmani’s time in Paris.
I like the painting ‘Archangel
Michael’ by Reni Guido (15-75-1642) and the 17th century Italian
Moiolica ceramics.
There are unique
pieces of Georgian art, such as the small triptych of Virgin Mary from Ubisa
(14th century); The Apocalypse - Revelation of John the Divine; and 1st-3rd
century belt buckles from Tchiatura.
There is a cover-page
of a Quran manuscript designer by the Iranian caligrapher Ahmad Ibn Muhammad
Tabrizi in 1845-1846, and the leather-bound 1989 Bible used by Bishop Tarasi
Kandelaki.
On display are the
pieces of 4th century pottery found in the Sairkhe archaeological
