Zurab Nizharadze (1928-) is a Georgian oil painter, graphic artist, book illustrator, and film and theatre art director.
Zurab Nizharadze studied at the Tbilisi Academy of Fine Arts and from 1965 he taught at the academy, serving as its rector from 1982-1987.
Since the 1960s he worked for the Georgian Film Studio, providing art direction for films such as Alooba (1967) and Alka (1990).
His works represent a variety of genres and branches, mostly in easel painting and psychological portraits.
Zurab Nizharadze won the people’s artist of Georgia award in 1979.
