French televison had a week of American movies ranging from golden oldies to Roman battles.
The movies started with the 2004 American film ‘Troy’ by Wolfgang Petersen with Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Irish actor Peter O‘Toole, Australian actor Eric Bana, and German actor Diane Kruger.
Then there was the 1966 Henry Hathaway American western ‘Nevada Smith’ starring Steve McQueen, Karl Malden, and Brian Keith.
This was followed by the 1959 American comedy ‘Operation Petticoat’ by Blake Edwards, starring Cary Grant, Tony Curtis, Joan O’Brien, Dina Merrill, and Gene Evans.
… Such a selection of all my favourite brilliant actors in one week!
