MARTINA NICOLLS - NEWS AND UPDATES FOR APRIL 2021
Hello,
In France, President Macron called a third COVID-19 pandemic lockdown on 18 March for one month, although not as strict as the first lockdown in March 2020. On 31 March, President Macron announced tighter restrictions until 2 May.
In Lewis Carroll's 1872 novel "Alice Through the Looking Glass" the caterpillar gives Alice some advice:
Blue Caterpillar: You've been gone too long, Alice. There are matters which might benefit from your attention. Friends cannot be neglected. Hurry.
White Queen: Hatter's counting on you.
Cheshire Cat: We all are.
There seemed to be no use in waiting by the little door, so she went back to the table, half hoping she might find another key on it, or at any rate a book of rules for shutting people up like telescopes: this time she found a little bottle on it ... and tied around the neck of the bottle was a paper label, with the words "DRINK ME" beautifully printed on it in large letters.
Regards, Martina
