The photo at La Coupole, Paris, was taken on 9 July 2023 by Iranian-French artist and creative, Ariane Balard. It’s a privilege to have such a memory of the occasion – a snapshot in time.
I was sitting in my usual corner of the iconic French restaurant in Montparnasse, when Ariane introduced herself – after conversations with a fellow diner. She is facinating and engaging, and we are deep in conversation when she takes several photographs. I like this one – under the La Coupole ‘Paris Follies’ poster.
