André Goezu is exhibiting his art collection called “Intertwining the thread of art” - Entrelacs au fil de l’art – at the Town Hall of the 6th arrondissement in Paris from 8-23 November 2024.
The collection has the caption “a mirror of deceptive serenity” due to André Goezu’s diffusion of dreamlike stillness interlacing symbols and images.
He uses various techniques of engraving to illustrate texts by Jean Ray-John Flanders, Emile Verhaeren, Peter Handke, Roger Caillois, Jef Geeraerts, Jean-François Turenne, and Arthur Rimbaud.
Born in 1939 in Antwerp, Belgium, André Goezu is a painter, printmaker, etcher, and illustrator who also has lived and worked in Paris since 1968.
