The Fuchsia-Flowered Gooseberry (Ribes speciosum) is a shrub with fuchsia-like flowers, and one of my favourite plants of the Northern Hemisphere.
The shrub is thorny with deciduous dark-green leaves, which grows to about 150 centimetres (59 inches).
