  ‘Sukarno, the Visionary’ is an exhibition in the Town Hall of the 6th arrondissement in Paris from 24 June to 11 July 2022.    Under the patronage of the Embassy of Indonesia in France, the Town Hall is displaying photographs of Sukarno (1901-1970) – born Koesno Sosrodihardjo – the first president of the Republic of Indonesia after the country’s independence on 17 August 1945.    Considered to be the ‘Builder of the Nation, he gave Indonesia a state identity and philosophy: PANCASILA (‘Five Principles’).   Misha Sydorenko is exhibiting his works in the ‘Hope’ collection in the Town Hall of the 6th arrondissement in Paris from 18 June to 11 July 2022. Based in Paris, he is known for his landscapes and figurative compositions.   Misha Sydorenko is a Ukrainian and French painter born in Lviv, Ukraine. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Lviv in 1999 where he studied painting, drawing, artistic culture, art history, philosophy, and psychology.    He had his first international exhibition in 2008 at La Salle University in Philadelphia, America, before exhibiting at the Ukrainian Embassy in France. He moved to Paris in 2014.    This collection of 80 pieces is the largest collection of Sydorenko’s works in one exhibition.   The Town Hall of the 6th arrondissement in Paris is exhibiting student drawings from 23 to 30 June 2022.    Montaigne College students participated in the exhibition under the theme: ‘Bestiaire‘ (‘Bestiary’).
