Gremi Church near Telavi in Kakheti, in the eastern region of Georgia – a branch of the Great Silk Road – is a UNESCO Heritage listed site.
The Gremi Chuch was built during King Leon’s reign in 1565. It includes the Church of Archangels and the Royal Tower.
