easels displaying photographs – old and new – stood in Freedom Square in Tbilisi,
Georgia, on Monday March 31, 2014. It was a quiet, but graphic, historical depiction
of photographs from 1919-1929, 1993, and 2008.

Union. It also supports Ukraine’s alliance with the West. In 2012, the
Republicans joined the current government’s Georgian Dream Alliance, and have
representatives in government portfolios. Georgia’s Foreign Minister does not
expect deteriorations in relations with Moscow (Trend, March 29, 2014) and is monitoring the development of all
scenarios following Ukraine’s recent relations with the Russian Federation.
The
Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili, travelled to Washington DC last
month to further discussions with NATO leadership, President Obama, Vice-President
Biden, and State Department officials. US Secretary of State, John Kerry,
announced support for Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic
