To mark the strong Italian-Georgian collaboration and cooperation, the
Museum of Modern Art in Tbilisi, Georgia, is exhibiting an exclusive collection
of Italian flags from 2-6 June 2016.
The Italian flags on display – hanging from the ceiling of the museum –were
created by top Italian fashion designers and houses, such as Laura Biagiotti,
Krizia, Alberta Ferretti, Ermanno Scervino, Albino, MaxMara, Moschino, Costume
National, Byblos, Gattinoni, Missoni, Enrico Coveri, Trussardi, Frankie
Morello, Brioni, Roberto Cavalli, Luciano Soprani, and Francesco Scognamiglio.
The Italian Trade Agency (1926-2016) marks its 90th anniverary and
Repubblica (1946-2016) is celebrating its 70th anniversary. They are joined by
the Italian Embassy in Georgia and the Ministry of Economic Development to host
the exhibition as part of the Made in Italy Fashion Parade. The
telecommunications tower overlooking Tbilisi will also display the Italian
colours as it lights up in the evening.
