Milk is a symbol of purity, health, and prosperity. Black is the colour of night, the end, and death. For more than 100 years in Ostrava, coal ws a symbol of prosperity, a new life, and a new beginning. Black Milk represents the paradox.
Ostrava is a city in the northeast of the Czech Republic. An industrial and multi-national town, Ostrava is an example of the heavy industry and mining sectors that went through a downturn or cessation at the end of the 20th century. The declining industry also caused demographic and cultural decline.
