On 1 October 2017, my
recent book, SIMILAR BUT DIFFERENT IN THE ANIMAL KINGDOM, was announced a
winner in the 2017 Book Excellence Awards in the category Animals/Pets.
The book, from
hundreds around the world, was judged on its quality of writing, design, and
market appeal.
Released in May 2017,
SIMILAR BUT DIFFERENT IN THE ANIMAL KINDGOM has 25 pairs of animals that are
similar but different. These include Butterflies and Moths, Ducks and Geese,
Cheetahs and Leopards, Salmon and Tuna, Hares and Rabbits, and Dingoes and
Dogs.
Suitable for upper
primary and secondary school students, and as a reference book for adults, the
500-page book provides taxonomic information, tables of comparisons, and easy
to remember fast facts, as well as a glossary of terms relevant for all ages.
