The
Economist has released its annual list of the world’s most expensive cities in
its ‘2018 Worldwide Cost of Living Report.’
Singapore
tops the list again as the most expensive city to live in. Asia is the most
expensive region in the world to live in, followed by Europe.
The
list of the top 10 most expensive cities in the world to live in, with its index
score, includes:
1. Singapore (index 116)
2. Paris (index 112)
3. Zurich (index 112)
4. Hong Kong (index 111)
5. Oslo (index 107)
6. Geneva (index 106)
7. Seoul (index 106)
8. Copenhagen (index 105)
9. Tel Aviv (index 103)
10. Sydney (index 102)
Paris
rose up the list, from 7th in 2017 to 2nd in 2018; Oslo rose up the list, from
11th in 2017 to 5th in 2018; and Sydney rose from 14th in 2017 to 10th in 2018.
Hong
Kong fell from 2nd in 2017 to 4th in 2018.
