The
Museum of Economic Botany at the Adelaide Botanic Garden in Australia is
holding an exhibition called ‘In our Nature’ by Tamara Dean from 4 March to 3
June 2018.
‘In
our Nature’ is an exploration of people in their environment. Tamara Dean shows
that people are intrinsically linked to nature and to each other.
She
photographs scenes at the Adelaide Botanic Garden and the Mount Lofty Botanic
Garden in South Australia using models in various poses. The locations in the
Adelaide Botanic Garden include the Nelumbo Pond (the pond of the Sacred Lotus),
the Juniper trees, the Elephant Ear (Alocasia odora), the Salt Club Sedge
(Bolboschoenus caldwellii), and the Willow forest.
