Preventable child deaths in Africa

Child deaths in Africa can be prevented. For example, there were 122,350 deaths of children younger than five years old in Sub-Saharan Africa in 2017.

These child deaths, according to the World Heath Organisation (WHO), were in 39 Sub-Saharan African countries, and they were caused by poor quality anti-malarials.
