The Zurab Tsereteli Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in Tbilisi, Georgia, holds a permanent exhibition of the works of Georgian artist Zurab Tsereteli.
Zurab Tsereteli (1934-) was born in Tbilisi and graduated from the Tbilisi Academy of Arts where he majored in painting. However he is also noted for his bronze sculptures and mosaics. After graduating he went to France to continue his studies.
He is most famous for his large monumental projects. It was in France where he met Picasso and Mark Chagall, and expanded his range of works to include sculpture, ceramics, stained glass, and mosaics.
