The Museum of Economic Botany at the Adelaide Botanic
Garden in South Australia was established in 1881, dedicated to understanding
and showcasing the interaction between people and plants. This includes the use
of plants for food, fibre, medicine, tools, dyes, etc.
The Museum of Economic Botany is unique because it is the
last museum of its type in the world.
