The French Senate is exhibiting a photo exhibition on the fence railings of the Luxembourg Garden in Paris from 5 March to 3 July 2022. The theme is “France, Patrimoines et Territoires d'exception” – France, Heritage and Exceptional Territories.
France, Heritage and Exceptional Territories combines rural and urban images around France, depicting the heritage of the region. It shows cities and villages, large sites and natural parks, crafts and artisans.
A representative of the Senate said, “This visual and aesthetic ode to French ethnology is the singularity of the work proposed by seven of the largest networks of heritage territories that we honour on our railings which shows the development of harmonious tourism in the four corners of France. I am delighted with this synergy through which France can only gain in attractiveness.”
The exhibition aims to encourage local and international visitors to venture into the territories across the French countryside.
