To celebrate the Year of Children in Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs exhibited the artworks of children and youth in Almaty from 29 September to 2 October 2022. It was part of the larger UNESCO international project called The Planet of ART – 2022. It showcased artwork from more than 50,000 children from 45 countries in which they expressed their vision of the world through creativity.
A selection of the children’s artwork from Kazakhstan is exhibited in the UNESCO headquarters in Paris in April 2023. The Planet of ART – 2022 is dedicated to the Great Silk Road and is held as part of the celebration of the Year of Children in Kazakhstan, the 30thanniversary of Kazakhstan’s admission into UNESCO, and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Clubs for UNESCO movement.
This Paris 2023 exhibition presents selected artworks of the Kazakhstan finalists and winners of the project who were chosen under the theme “Heritage of the Silk Road” from more than 8,000 contestants from about 40 countries.
