On 6 April 2023, Azerbaijan marked the anniversary of its UNESCO Silk Road Program with a scientific symposium, a film screening, a gala, and a photography exhibition.
The celebrations started with an International Forum on Silk Roads, Diversity, Dialogue, and Peace to define their UNESCO Silk Road Program objectives for strengthening intercultural dialogue and cultural diversity in the current global context.
The theme of the photography exhibition from March to June 2023 was “Youth Eyes on the Silk Road” with an exhibition of Silk Road artifacts. The Silk Road in Azerbaijan photography exhibition complements the UNESCO activities in the Paris headquarters.
