Movember is moustache time. Movember is a month
of action for men’s health.
The Movember Foundation is a charity tackling men’s
health on a global scale. The aim of the Movember Foundation is to help men
live longer, happier lives. By 2030 the Movember Foundation aims to reduce the
number of men dying prematurely by 25%. The Movember Foundation commenced in
2003, and in the past 13 years, it has funded 1,200 men’s health projects around
the world.
Movember is
particularly celebrated in November as Moustache-November in which people grow
a moustache or paint one on – the foundation has Mo Bros and Mo Sistas.
Their banner is a
moustach. Their motto for November is GROW A MO TO SAVE A BRO. It is 30 days – a month – of action to
prevent young men from dying. People sign up, grow and groom a moustache for 30
days, and put the call out to raise money for men’s health.
