The National Zoo
and Aquarium in Canberra, Australia, has two male De Brazza's Monkeys (Cercopithecus neglectus) called Sam and
PJ. They are often known as swamp monkeys because they are found in wetlands in
central Africa. They can stuff their cheeks full of food to store it for a
later time.
Unlike the small New World Monkeys such as marmosets and tamarins, the De Brazza's Monkeys are Old World Monkeys.
