The National Zoo
& Aquarium in Canberra, Australia, has three meerkats named Mbali, Makena,
and Sekai.
The
Slender-Tailed Meerkat (Suricata suricata)
is found in southern Africa. They usually live in groups of 30 called a mob,
gang, or clan.
When I saw the
meerkats, they were feeding on live cockroaches in green containers.
