As you wander through
the vast hectares of the National Botanical Garden of Georgia in Tbilisi there is the constant sound of water – from the waterfall and the River Tsavkisi. There
are also the remnants of ancient water pipelines that gurgle water through them
and up to the surface.
Over the river at
various points are a number of bridges - botanical bridges. The bridge that crosses the waterfall –
the pristine white bridge – was constructed in 1914. The bridge by the main
entrance is concrete with a wrought iron railing. And along the river there are
smaller bridges.
