The Batumi cable car starts
on the coast, in the city centre, and continues for 2.5 kilometres to the
Anuria/Pheria Mountain.
Batumi is a seaside
resort in Georgia, and best visited in the summer months. However, as I was in
Batumi, I took the cable car ride to see the views of the city. There were
hardly any visitors because it was cold and raining, and of course the rain
made it difficult to take great photographs. Nevertheless the 15 minute steady
climb in the cable car was worth the experience.
